Hydro Flask - Tumbler - 22 fl. oz.

Category: Camp Kitchen

I love all things Hydro Flask - I own 8 of all varieties. This one is great for hot or cold drinks. I love that I don't have to open the cap to drink. **I make sure that I put the opening at the HF logo.*** (flip cap does that automatically when screwed on right)

My husband first bought himself one. He kept saying how nice it was to drink out of it. I tried his and quickly wanted my own. It fits nice in my hand, the mouth piece is smooth and easy on the lips. It can hold quite a lot and keeps ice really well just like my hydroflask water bottle. I have this in the Flamingo pink and it is a beautiful neon pink. My husband surprised me with it as he really loved the color too. He likes his cup so much that now he wants the bigger one that is 32 oz.

I'll be honest, I mainly got this because it was 1/2 off and am soooooo glad I didn't pay full price. I'm not sure why people love this brand so much, I've not used it for very long and it's already heavily stained despite the fact that I wash it after every use (my cheap target one is better than that). The lid also doesn't close so it spills every where and while the one thing this mug does is maintain temp, having lava hot coffee on you is not ideal. I almost incinerated my tongue the first time I used it - would not recommend for hot beverages.

I had a Hydro-Flask coffee tumbler with the flip top and while it kept my coffee hot, I was always wiping coffee off of the bridge of my nose. I ended up leaving that on an airplane so when I went to replace it, I wanted to try something different. I have found this to be perfect. It holds a bucket of hot coffee for hours and no coffee on the bridge of my nose. The narrow base fits in the small cup holders of my Tacoma too, a HUGE bonus.

I have not taken this cup on any outdoor adventures, but I do use it almost daily as a travel mug! The volume is nearly ideal if you order a large/venti coffee (or bring coffee from home). One downside is there is no closing feature on the lid. Sometimes I have to run to catch the bus, and I get a little bit of coffee that pops out. The indented lid keeps it from flying everywhere though. Definitely recommend if your commute isn't hectic. Very easy to hand wash, especially compared to a classic thermos or a wide mouth hydro.

It may look pretty but it does not hold your coffee! It does not have a lid that closes so while driving the car coffee spilled all over me! Good Times!

Love the tumbler but wish the lid was leakproof. I didn't do my homework when I ordered it. But it does keep things hot and cold.

The tumbler itself is as nice as I expected. The lid isn't what I expected but I like it. There is no way to close the lid so it is open. Personally I'm terrified of pressure buildup from hot liquids so I'd never put hot liquids on a sealed container. The escape of heat is minor though and I've always finished my hot beverage before it cools down to a point I don't want it. The weirdest part for me is that the lid isn't twisted on but pushed on. It basically creates a seal. Easy to pry off when applying pressure to the under part of one side but I can pick up the tumber by the lid without it falling off. So far this lid style hasn't been an issue for me. Thanks to the shape of the tumbler, I've found it easy to clean the bottom. I'd say it's worth trying out this tumbler. I will be using mine daily for tea.

This tumbler is another example of Hydro Flask quality. It keeps the liquids cold and what is really nice is that there is no sweating on the table or on the ground.

The cup alone is amazing! The cup doesn’t sweat with ice and the ice lasts for hours. I love that I can fit my hand inside to wash it, which makes it easier to wash. However, the lid was terrible. It doesn’t even stay on. If I turn the cup upside down and shake it, the lid slips off. With ice in the cup, the lid comes off too easily. Worst design ever for the lid. For the cup alone, I definitely recommend. Don’t expect much for the lid.

I purchased the kiwi green color. I love that it keeps my drinks cold and is easy to drink from. The cons here are that a reusable straw doesn't fit through the opening (I know I could buy the straw lid, but I don't want to); and (like others said) unless you're totally paying attention to where you place the lid opening, you end up wearing your drink. Overall, love Hydro Flask products and will still purchase from their brand (:

This is my fourth hydroflask product. I have the 32 oz water bottle, 20 oz thermos for coffee, a 12 oz glass for home use and now this! I bought the teal for me and raspberry for a friend. It's perfect especially as a boat cup for whatever you are drinking ;) I used a tervis before but this keeps your drinkie drink so much colder longer! Only critique is that a lid that fully closes would be useful! The lip on this doesn't close.

The hydro flask tumblr is your ideal travel mug. It keeps the contents warm and is a clean design. If you haven't had a hydroflask before, whatever temperature you put into it - that will be the temperature of your drink! Fore-warning, if you have hot tea, it will stay quite hot. I also use this to mix protein drinks, but that is harder to clean out from the cap (my own issue, not the product).

Not the cheapest just the best. I have 2 Hydro Flask bottles. I bought my first on about 4 years ago only because it was on sale. I thought the regular price was just too much, until I used it. These keep drinks cold or hot for unbelievably long times and are quite tough, plus their are a variety of lids so you have options. All around one of my favorite things I use every day.

It does exactly what I need it to do. I leave for school in the morning and still have hot coffee four hours later. Sometimes it stays *too* hot, but that’s on me.

I love it that this awesome cup thermos combo keeps your coffee warm for a very long time. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is that the cup is very slippery and easily falls out of your hands. Also the cap has a hole so if cup tilts over coffee spills everywhere. So it needs a different cap . Overall we love it. Thanks

After trying several tumblers, the hydro flask is now my favorite. Keeps drinks cold. Holds ice all day long, longer than any of my other top brands. I fill up with ice n water everyday, fits in cup holder in my truck. I’ve never spilled a drop. Still ice in cup at end of day. Works excellent with hot coffee too.

I'm ready happy with this Hydro Flask Tumbler. The Hot beverages remain hot for several hours and the cold beverages remain cold for extended periods. I like that I don't have to remove the lid in order to enjoy the beverages. Thanks!!! I have been looking for a drinking vessel like this for a long time.

Generally I use REI for my outdoor purchases, so this purchase was a bit different. I was tired of my coffee getting cold at work between refills. I am a slow coffee drinker but generally consumer 2-3 cups per day. This keeps my coffee HOT for a solid four hours, after that point it still keeps warm, too.

I bought this for work. With my old bottle I would fill 3/4 ice and 1/4 water and 2 hours later the ice would all be melted. With this new hydro flask the ice just doesn't melt, I couldn't believe it. Now I put in 1/4 ice and 3/4 water and at the end of the day I still have ice. Amazing!!!

I have been a Hydroflask supporter since the company began, and they continue to WOW me! I have loved using my 22 oz. tumbler, for both hot coffee and iced tea. No coffee stains or leftover scents, and keeps ice well! Love everything about Hydroflask and I will continue to support them.

Bought this specifically for cold drinks & it keeps them icy all day. (Haven't tested on hot liquids.) Only hope is that a straw lid will come out soon that fits the tumbler style... Aiming to eliminate using disposable cups at coffee shops & a straw lid would be an improvement!

This is the best travel mug ever. My tea stays hot until the end of the day. My ice cubes are still cubes long after my drink is gone. Love it, and purchased one for each family member, we all love them. Also the top is ready to drink from, no turning our flipping the lid.

I have Hydro Flasks with sports tops and regular tops, but this one has a little more suave when you are going to a party! So far I've used it for wine, home brew, water, Emergence C with electrolytes, iced tea with lemon and gin and tonic. Hmmm, what next!

I've only used it a couple of times when traveling but it kept my drink warm far longer than the standard metal coffee mugs. I recommend the standard top that comes with it, as it is easier to clean than the elaborate tops with a straw.

Loving my Hydro Flask tumbler! The insulated lid keeps my coffee hotter longer than regular lids do. Great for cold sips on the go too. Only thing I'll be looking for next is the lid that slides shut to avoid travel spills.

sat this in the sun with ice water and most of the ice volume was still there in 90 minutes and more than two/thirds of the ice in 3.5 hours. Couldn't believe howcold the water was after sitting in the sun that long.

The volume is of versatile size. Hot beverages stay hot when used with the lid. For the whole morning your beverage is warm. It also holds ice well too. It doesn’t hurt that it looks good and it’s sleek on the inside.

It is a solid thermos that keeps things hot in subzero temps. I wish the opening to sip from closed! However, I knew it before purchasing so, that one is on me :) Love this thermos for commuting to & from work.

Otherwise once you put the lid on it won't change for hours. My first use was during a 90 minute road trip and my tea was too hot the whole trip. What a great insulator. Very comfortable to hold and drink from.

I had coffee in it 3/4 of the flask. Some spilled out as I was driving so a bit disappointed. How can you hike with a leaking object... Then the coffee was warm just 4 hours later already ):

Very nice, I use it as a coffee cup in my car and take it to work with me it will hold a hot cup of coffee hot for 2 hours easy. While it is a little pricey it is a quality product

This travel mug replaces one that would only keep coffee hot for the first nine holes of golf. The Hydro Flask Tumbler makes it stay at a great temp for the entire round. Cheers!

Definitely keeps hot beverages hot! (I like the products but not the review website's rules about a minimum number of characters when my review is favorable and short!)

Retains heat or cold for HOURS. For what it's worth, I think the taste of water, beer or coffee holds up very well, especially compared to $10 mugs. Well worth it!

If you put coffee in this sip lightly for the next hour. it has burned Burned my tongue long after it was poured. The lid is insulated or at least quite thick.

This is my first Hydro Flask Tumbler and I absolutely love it !!! I can't imagine using anything else. Thanks Hydro Flask for making an Excellent Product.

Keeps my drinks really cold the ice was still ice after leaving it in my hot car for hours. I am sure my hot drinks will stay hot in the winter too.

This product has one major flaw - it does not close. The hole you drink out of is fixed and therefore, heat escapes. Will not keep coffee hot.

Love it. Works great keeps stuff hot or cold for quite a long time. Definitely thinking about buying another one. So I have 2.

This cup is great for keeping drinks cold at home or on the road. There is still ice in the cup even after 24 hours.

This thing is awesome. Keeps my coffee piping hot and cold drinks chilling. Love it. Thanks Sis (Christmas present).

This mug keeps coffee hot for several hours, which I had not found with any travel mugs up to this point.

Whether at home, hiking, or in your vehicle, this is the perfect size...keeps hot/cold for hours

Purchased and it is used daily by the partner, so, this certainly is the type of item to gift.

I really like my new tumbler. It's my go container of choice to for my morning hot beverage.

It is a little pricey but keeps your beverage cold for hours and no sweat on your table!

I love this tumbler from Hydro Flask..hands down my favorite and best choice of colors!!

Coffee stays hot all morning. I fill up my cup at 08:00 and it's still hot at noon.

I primarily use my hydro flask tumbler for hot water with essential oils...yummmmm

I put ice in my water in the morning and 10 hours later there’s still ice in it.

I love this cup it is perfect for coffee. It keeps thing hot for hours.

I will be returning this to get a container with a closing lid

Holds heat/cold forever. Tight seal. Reasonable for sipping.

Keeps hot for 2/3 hours warm up to 7. Cold with ice up to 16

Keeps my drink cool even after leaving it in the car all day

My new coffee mug for work. Keeps it warm for hrs.

Are they manufactured in the U.S.?

Designed in Bend OR. Made in China

Does the lid close, or is it open like the Yeti lid?

The lid cannot be fully sealed. It has two holes it that do not have a closure.

Does anyone know if the 22oz tumbler fits under a Keurig??

Depending on which Keurig machine you have. Ours has the drip catch that you put your mug on when brewing. It slides out to clean. If you remove it, the 22oz tumbler fits easily.

I don't want to use the lid. Is the rim smooth (or threaded)?

It is smooth.

Kate

are they dishwasher safe or handwash only?
