Lowa - Lady Light GTX Hiking Boots - Women's

Category: Women's Footwear

Comfort: I had a pair of hiking boots from another brand that I received as a gift years 3-4 years ago that have been my trusty hiking/trekking/backpacking companions until recently they started giving me blisters on my heel after only a few miles of use due to wear-down. I was really sad to part ways with them but was looking for an upgrade. I had a trekking trip planned to Peru and it was either bring the boots that I know give me blisters or get new ones without a break-in period that potentially might give blisters. I wore these right out of the box for 22 miles (as well as wearing them during off hike days around town casually) and they were so comfortable, no blisters, and provided comfort and stability for long-term wearing. I even wore them on the plane home because I wasn't sick of them.

I've been searching for a boot that can hold up to scrambling and log distance hiking. This boot does not rub, stays tied tight, and is 100% waterproof! Worth the money so far! I typically go through a pair a year so we'll see how these compare.

Awesome hiking boots that are totally worth the higher price. Hiked for a week all over Zion National Park and absolutely loved them. Comfortable, supportive, good traction soles. Highly recommend.

I had to replace my old fully lined leather hiking boots. I'm so surprised at how comfortable these are! I bought 1/2 size bigger than my shoe size.

My feet don’t get exhausted After a mile they mold perfectly

I been wearing these boots 4 miles 3 times a week for a year on a rocky steep foot trail loop I do for exercise, I LOVE these boots and from reading the bad reviews I feel like Lowa might phase them out so I just bought a second pair for storage! I gave up on Vasque and so grateful REI turned me onto Lowa, as someone says here these are similar to the old Vasque Sundowners which I loved as well but they're long gone, I've got a narrow heel, narrow kinda flat arch, wide metatarsal from ballet spread and long toes, these were SO comfy from day one, oh yea I've got thin weak ankles too and these are super supportive, the solid stiff sole allows my feet to kick back and relax while my legs and core do the work, and I can literally stand in a stream the gortex liner is totally solid, I wear the REI liner sock and smart wool outer sock as usual, and I don't have to use super feet insoles either cause the insole they come with is perfect, I can't say enough about this boot, my only complaint I guess is if I don't double knot they're loose by the top of the hill and I have to tighten for the descent, but that's nuthin! My feet are so hard to fit, well I got a second pair for the future that says it all really...btw the green accents turn gray with dust after hike one, at least mine did! But still no signs of wear really, this is one old style tough boot - I love it!
