I pretty much hate all freeze dried dinners so nothing gets higher than a 3. So this was at least edible. I ate it while feeling sick from altitude and it actually tasted ok. That is rare so I would recommend
I took this (and other AlpineAire food) on a recent backpacking trip with a non-vegetarian friend, and we both enjoyed and appreciated the calories and protein, and the taste as well!
My first time trying AlpineAire; not bad. If i had the option, i'd go for 3.5 stars. Passable, but needs improvement.
Easy and quick hot meal. Tasted OK. I think there are much better options out there, so I don't think I will be going this route again.
I was expecting this to be better. The flavor wasn't very strong. Overall, it was good, just wanted more flavor.
We use this to add to our camp burritos and it seriously completes the meal! A favorite camping staple
For cheep, and light meals; these preform great! Not to mention vegetarian.
Loved this product. Flavor was on point. Good texture very filling.
We mostly ate a variety of dehydrated or freeze dried meals. We decided to do a little review of our meals for fun and future trip planning purposes. In general, we had mostly vegetarian options, due to my view that dehydrated meat options rarely turn out very good. Hence, we used mostly beef jerky as our animal protein source. We were very diligent in following the directions, and always waited the requisite 15-20 minutes before serving.
